This Story Still Makes Me Smile

My sister reminded me of a story from forty years ago. A woman had been stalking her in a bar, glaring at her. Marilyn, an acquaintance of mine was becoming more and more upset. Thinking I was in this bar drinking and laughing with a man Who was not my husband. She marched over to give my sister a stern lecture When my sister looked up, Marilyn stopped, realizing she did not know her. Marilyn, my co-worker came to work on Monday and announced to everyone that I had not been lying When I told them I had an identical twin. Validation that I do not lie every time I speak.

Caren, This story would make anyone smile. But still can't get over, no matter the differences, the idea that there are two of you. -Richard

We have identical faces, senses of humor, laughs, body shape, hair styles, teeth, and mannerisms. I adore her but we agree on absolutely nothing.

I had more fun than she did. When we reached junior high I used to go to all of her classes when she was sick.
