Through the chaotic screams, echoing fear, Trembling tears erasing the memories, Moments, softly shadowed by soundless yearnings … Soon, we shall be leaving this world, this life, Leaving for another world, where – surely there’ll be no strife. Surely, surely – there can be on strife in the afterlife! Through the darkness of an anxious sky, glistening, Still and quiet stars, drinking the milky whispers of prayers, We pray on, praying for the promise of His everlasting love, The promise of heaven, where our hearts will finally know – The meaning of grace, faith and peace that no doubt can fade, Peace that silences every darkness that comes – From seeing our reflections just below the depths, The watery graves, where our hearts will soon be kept… Hidden from the light of a sun, but known by the Son who is love, The Son who secrets the soul beyond this world, In paradise where the light of hope was born, where the love So gentle and warm – rises, inviting, surviving, Eventually providing every soul who believes – sanctity. Through the confusion and frenzied screams, Erasing the wonders felt by souls who can see through the dark, Into the soft bidding of a thought where timeless truths, Reach out, glowing like the fires of hope – inspiring, Even those who feel like there’s no hope, no reason for believing, Even for those who are hesitant in their faith,… These waves of despair wash over spirits and futility Wars with desperation as the moments tick into the sea, Leaving only the silence for the imagination, Listening to the endless splash of exasperation, Calling to the night – the still, cool night, Which promises that forever awaits, in victory, the sea’s breath, Splattering every thought with a promise of peace… Peace that comes to souls who believe, - just keep believing… Even when these waters wash away the body, Leaving only the skeletons to see, the dreams, There is a hope beyond this moment, a fading whisper revealing… His light, glowing in the distance, gently erasing, Every detail of these messy memories, Every doubt that ever plagued the spirit, Every reason for a trembling dread… Forever is waiting, and there – it is said, Love is anticipating our arrival, destiny – our survival, In eternity, where God’s light pours out a glimpse of love, Love that lasts and never grows past the beautiful, The knowing that the soul abides throughout everlasting, Throughout this passing into the hereafter!

what a wonderfully poetic tribute to Divine love. As I read your poem I felt doubt and despair and also reassurance that comes with faith in divinity. I liked: milky whispers of prayer.' Those words and many other were powerful, spiritual and uplifting. Well done, Ms. Gina. Enjoy your weekend, Sara

Hey Gina.. this poem weaves together themes of faith, hope, and the prospect of an afterlife with poetic and emotive language. It navigates through moments of despair, doubt, and anticipation, ultimately conveying a sense of comfort and reassurance in the enduring power of divine love... concludes with a strong assertion that love lasts and never grows past the beautiful, emphasizing the timeless and everlasting nature of divine love..
