This Quietus - Death

This quietus death – sweet release- a rhapsody enwrapping you. Fathomless it is; pain will cease. This quietus death – sweet release! Your story does not end, for peace lasts an eternity when life's through! This quietus death – sweet release- a rhapsody enwrapping you. March 24, 2018 for Broken Wing's "5 Words Please" Contest

Oh... that does make sense to me. Because I do believe in the after life. I am hoping for the same thing . Have a nice day my friend.

There is life after death and it will bring peace from all the madness we see here on earth. That is what I am hoping anyway.

You captured the absoluteness of the moment here Andrea. We live and live and live, and then, bam, done. What we didn't even know we wanted, enwraps us.

A morose tone to a beautifully written poem with a lovely positive message (perhaps it is I who is morose and not your poem).

I AM STUNNED WITH DISBELIEF - WHAT ARE THE ODDS THAT WE WOULD BOTH WRITE A TRIOLET? I posted mine yesterday with absolutely no idea you had used the form as well. Great minds really do lay in the same gutter. This fact blows me away, and the poem is substantive within the form restrictions. Wow - on the poem and the same form thing. Love ... CayCay

Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel said that for the pious man it is a privilege to die - just returning the gift that is given to you. Also your fine poem reminds me of a Moody Blues song where the singer sings Life's yours for the making - eternity's waiting, waiting. Peace & Love Matthew Anish

I don't know about triolet, I'm steeped in the meaning. So encouraging as one is older.
