This Limerick Breaks Every Rule

Who pays attention to the news So many irresponsible views Facts without proof Credibility goes poof You're better off taking a snooze This limerick breaks every rule That I never learned in poetry school Syllable count is wrong Let's give it the gong That's what I get for shooting pool But I've resolved that I shall make amends I think I owe it to all my girlfriends How many is that Well, my Mom and my cat I'm afraid that's where my 'love roster' ends
