Oh, Mama Bear! What a lovely post. You bring me SO much joy. Thank you for remembering me. Hopefully soon I can come back. I did need a time away for some contemplation and introspection. It has been good for me. We will see how things go. Nice warm hugs to you all the way from Beirut.

Hi Eileen..I have just been reading the poem "Virgin Snow" by our friend Timothy Hicks, where he quotes Piet Hein: "there's a lifetime in a second". And this poem of yours, referring to moments in time, goes hand in hand with it. That one second...that single moment in time, can effect our whole life. So I agree with you: seize the moment...and all else can be won! Beautiful! ...

Deeply philosophical yet practical in application! An advise that one should keep in his heart and remember it with each heartbeat! Excellent poem! A seven from me without hesitation, dear Eileen! Good luck with the contest! To add something along your line of thought, I say this: Life is a street that at each moment there is a corner inviting us to make a choice to turn left or right or to continue our way, pending our choice our life may alter its course! Congratulations!

What an honor to receive a seven from you, my dear poet. You know how I value your thoughts on my work. Your praise is a crown. Your added lines, beautiful. Blessings to you.

I admire the alliteration you use deftly to emphasize the pivotal moments Eileen. Your form style also makes the message incisive on my mind. You close the poem with eloquent force, reminding that courage has a consequence that can make your future victorious, in this moment and all that ensue. "Choice moments...Dense with destiny..." powerful poetry. J.A.B.

Alliteration...your strong point, Justin. You are rubbing off on me...I'm glad you approve of my poem. Justin...moments come along once in a lifetime...I know this. The moments you visit me...are precious. Your visits...joyful to my heart.

Wonderful poem. Wonderful state of mind. I feel like this poem itself is a moment - and it's slipping away as I'm reading it. AND ALL OTHER DAYS WILL BE WON... so if you don't seize the moment then the days are lost? Love how this makes me read between the lines.
