This Could Be Painful
My wife said to me,I had to prune my tree
But I didn't know what to do.
All I could imagine with every cut,
Was the pain it was going through.
I had to give it some water,
I had to replace the sap.
I needed to get some rain water
Not the stuff out of the tap.
My wife said it looked ten years younger,
She said it's a really nice tree.
I am going to hide the cutters,
In case she does it to me.
At last my tree is all finished
It's had its cut and it's trim.
For me to look ten years younger,
I would have to spend ten years at the gym.
