I think I have found my forte with the limerick form and it is in my genes as both my aunt and uncle wrote limericks so I guess it was bound to show when I began writing in 2013:-) hugs Jan xx

my poet, JM, paid me a visit yep, we all be OK & nothing's illicit our poet from the Isle of Man threads limericks from here to Iceland & pens it like a good woman: such merit. HAPPY EASTER Blessings to U, your Hubby, Mom, & family. You made many folks here enjoy Easter a bit more ... but no more DRUMMING for me until Christmas. I've been naughty, naughty

Excellent stuff! As I've commented before, you have such a natural gift for humour - especially in this form. I am jealous now, though, that you're writing limericks for other people ;)

Thanks John:-) Anil commented on a poem and challenged me to write about the energiser bunny - I get great inspiration from suggestions I get and need to work on a parody of snow white and Cinderella after comments on my 'crapunzel' poem :-) I will be on stage at a poetry review with a group of like minded humourous poets at the end of the month:-) hugs Jan xx
