Behind my eyes lies freshwater
Memory gets lost in the blue
I don't look, but I'm aware of your beauty
Willing to forget all for you
To be seen, held in your gaze
I'm conditioned to react it's true
Turned on all my receptors
Close proximity all you needed to do
Coral lays dead like my brain cells
Only yesterday it seemed they grew
Though my heart has become maze like
Within it my feelings easily renew
Though side thoughts are all hidden
Right now I need think nothing through
I still dutifully respond when bidden
Undoubtedly caught, no need to pursue
