Walking softly on my thoughts,
His light draws me to him…
As it reflects His beautiful, colors
In hues so musical, they feel
Like the gentling of snowflakes,
The amber in the sunset…
Erasing the darkness with breathless
Hopes, dreamy feelings blending
With laughter, passions so healing
They remind me his heart, his
Grace is free and fulfills me, sincerity
Capturing the faith in me – I believe
He is the way to see through…
The prayers and the praise, hymns
Flowing in infinite thanks – I am lifted
To new heights because of His embrace
Incredible strength, overpowering
My doubts, sending me into the promises
They make a way out of the despair,
Reassure and honor with peace that
Stirs up the honesty, the inspiration that
Enlightens me, delights in me…
I am like a trembling seed, planted
Beneath the rich, warm earth
Saturated with the blood He bleeds,
Blessing me with His redemptive words,
Restoring me to a precious love…
The love of the Father – my forever
Believing in the garden He plants within,
Where His nurturing hand heals and mends,
Blessing me with internal devotion,
Awakening grace that pours over me,
Breaking through the darkness,
Shining His light of conviction, His peace
His wisdom, freeing me from the sin
That brings me down to the level of shame,
Dims the love, the joy, the belief…
Until I see Him, striding through the forest
The tree limbs covering him, protecting
Like the leaves who thrive beneath the sunlight,
Bloom beyond the grief and flourishing like spring
When love is poured out through the presence
The spirit knows Him like honor knows grace,
Like wisdom knows faith, like salvation knows the way
To give back to him…
They said he was a loser but I know, without a doubt
He is the way beyond the shadows that cloud
Hearts and souls with depravity, failure and shame….
He is the peace, the promise, the pure love that sings
Into the forest of my dreams, my hope, my belief…
Because of Him, I can breath easily – the clearest air
The air of truth and forgiveness, the air of tenderness
The air of a miracle who blessed me with His gift of redemption!
