They Do Not Speak the Same Language
She is awake!
The village children scream. Many terrified.
Most run away.
That’s okay, the wise woman said.
I will see what she is about.
She approaches the giant cautiously.
Giant sits up, smiles. Pats a place by her side.
Wise woman sits.
They do not speak the same language.
They enjoy the sun, the flowers, the breeze.
A dog comes out and barks.
They look at each other and smile.
Breaking down barriers one at a time
Unclear why she is here.
But Wise Woman wisely waits…
