THERE IS STILL HOPE
In this world, we behold despair and woe
Tempting us to plunge into failure’s pain
Struggling hard to escape from grievous blow
Toward exit that offers triumph-gain.
Midst injustice demanding fairness-share
Our hearts, in frustration, cannot but wail
Seeking truth; since for honesty we care
Calling for good and kindness to prevail.
Oh, God* is in control; so, there is hope
He reigns while radiating divine light
Let’s trust His promise as we strive to cope
Smiting self-pity toward victor’s flight.
Against unbelief around doubt-filled test
Blest are we to conquer along faith’s best.
*Psalms 22:28 - For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations.
