Hi Gershon, Thinking about the Old Comedians one come to mine, George Burns. He had a lot of funny one liners this one I still remember.... "I once gave Gracie a coupon for a year's subscription to a magazine as gift - and all she had to do was fill it out and send in the check. Thanks G ~ Debbie

Your Mother, was blessed to have known Gracie. The "Magazine Subscription" was a joke George Burns told. I though he was a class act and a great Comedian. Blessings, Debbie

George and Gracie.... Interesting! 'The Burns and Allen Show' was my favorite fare back in the day. I just loved how George would monitor Gracie on the TV. My Mom actually knew Gracie. She said that she was razor-sharp. And she had to be to play such a ditzy role so perfectly. She was the best... And to think that you gave her a gift... Do you remember which magazine it was? ~ Keep smiling, Gershon
