There Go I
”When thoughts cease to flow ~ Where does ego go”
When I declare about myself,
I’m trying to convince myself,
But when I silence all such thoughts,
I often then reveal myself.
The muse and I, one and the same;
The muse, though, does not take my name,
And neither does seek fortune, fame,
Nor point to others, laying blame.
And this is why I cannot write
When I am present in my sight;
At times like these, my muse takes flight,
Returning in a dimmer light.
Elusive, creativity:
Unleash the mind and set it free;
I wanders off and leaves just me,
And to my joy, epiphany.
