There Are Days When

THERE ARE DAYS WHEN There are days when my entire world Feels like its falling apart My quiet time gets interrupted Before I've had time to start I try to gather my thoughts anew And make an effort to commune with God Invariably someone needs my help So off to help them I plod Now the days half gone but I'm not alone It's me and the Lord Himself Everything else will just have to wait I'm putting things high on a shelf So I lift my petitions to the Lord on High He hears my every word And I can go through the rest of the day Because my prayer I know He heard Sometimes I feel like I'm spinning my wheels Where have the hours been Well it really doesn't matter a lot 'Cause I know there are days when 22 August 2018 For the contest sponsored by Viv Wigley
