The Writer In Me, Wants You To Know
The writer in me
Wants you to know
That together we
Set love’s tempo
Like waves in the sea
Our love does flow
Blending ceaselessly
Where’er we go
Let’s collaborate
Our lives and see
We make a pair great
You must agree
You are my soul mate
We’re meant to be
Let’s appreciate
This rhyming glee
There is no excuse
We’re poetic
You’re my noble muse
I’m your music
You brighten my blues
I’m your lyric
Together we fuse
Like charmed magic
The writer in me
Wants you to know
That together we
Set love aglow
So this is my plea
All restraint throw
Give your heart to me
I love you so
