The Writer

I evacuate
sitting on a throne
of waste…

till something live
emerges – taking
inspiration, wherever
it comes from…

the writer strains

filling bowls

and wastepaper baskets

inspiration navigating
internals and beyond

I am a Literary Proctologist
claiming from recycles

deciphering bottomless spirit scents

Very clever play on words here, especially the part of I am a literary proctologist claiming from recycles.. Nicely done Joe.

Thank you, Si; as we say on St. Patrick's Day: Bottoms up:) Blessings my friend. Pleased you found this one. Folks' reading sessions can be limited by other important life (often just by fatigue), and sometimes when we post several in quick succession, one or two get overlooked in the shuffle. I particular like writing these sort of playful, fling it against the wall pieces. What the heck.

Hi Joe; just read Jan's latest "Uplifting" -- Hilarious. Wonderful sense of humor. What the heck, there is humor high and low.
