The Wolves of Winter Howl

The wolves of winter howl In the crowded aisles carriage wheels rattling stealthily shadow their prey seize the moment of distraction chips, dip, the scent of smoked jerky a sampler of “fine” wines with a side of crusted cheese. The weather report echoes in the background single digit temperatures gale force winds two feet of drifting snow stay home, stay inside, stay warm In a cold shed the snow blower chuckles as the shovels tell old jokes. “how cold is it they ask” “it was so cold today I saw a chicken….with a cape on” John G.
