The Window

The window is almost without substance. Hardly thinking about it unless you need to change it in some way. It can be made of glass, paper , plastic, or nothing at all. There can be one to your heart, your soul, your mind, and even to heaven. The rain makes music upon it..... One can open, shut, obscure, clean decorate, or break it. Theres nothing like a breeze through it.... You can find it in a home, in the ceiling and in a flat bottomed boat. It comes in all sizes and shapes... big, little, round, square, oval; limited only by our imagination... Bless the window and the interest and comfort it brings to our lives. For the Word contest..

barbara, I had to get almost to the bottom to find one that COMPLETELY did the contest the way I would have envisioned it to be done if I had been the judge. This so deserved to be in top three (though those three were also wonderful) LUv,Andrea

What a clever way to present your word and I had never given so my attention to a window before. Congratulations on an excellent entry. Love, Joyce

Awesome, Barb. Very descriptive. Windows can really be a "pane" if you have to wash them! Good luck in the contest. Thanks for reading my stuff. Have a great weekend and holiday. xxx Ralph

Very creative use of the subject word, Barbara. I read the poem (while listening to the rain on my window) and found it quite deep. And that was before I realized it was for the contest. Well done, LNC. Love, Carolyn
