The Wild One

There once was a being, wild and free In the glade, it roamed and frolicked With its comrades, it ran and laughed Through the bushes, in the sunlight's glow But one day, a seeker came With a trap and a weapon, he sought to ensnare The being, but it was agile and sly It avoided him, and escaped the snare The seeker pursued it through the woods But the being was clever and swift It led him on a playful chase But in the end, it could not be caught The seeker gave up, and left The being was safe, and free once more It rejoiced, and danced with glee In the glade, it lived and explored And so the being lived its days Wild and free, without any worry It roamed the glade, and played with friends A life of joy, without any hurry

I love this poem, and especially this part "It rejoiced, and danced with glee In the glade, it lived and explored"
