The Whispering Ocean
Green and blue with white capped waves hitting the rocks
The sounds of the ocean as it whispers deep into the soul
As far as the eye can see life lives below among the dead
Many have died out at sea and their faint whispers drift ashore
Fascinating this ocean sea that all want to see that brings harmony
Fisherman fish and the Navy brings fear while the dolphins cheer
The oceans brings us food and we give it our trash and so, it whispers
I will keep your dead and swallow your trash and still feed you
I will calm your nerves as you sit upon my sand and watch my waves
I will let your ships sit on top of me and fish my waters
But my anger will come ashore and take your homes away
I will sink your ships capsizing them and you will never be found
I will take from you what you have taken from me and and not give it back
You will cry for your dead like I and I will turn your homes into trash
I have shown you my hurricane powers and how my wind blows
Yet, you still treat my waters as if they belong to you.
