The Way It Goes Down

I'm fine fine fine But then the roof leaks And I spiral off into calamity The roofer says two days time I think what if my whole life crashes How can I continue to cope with everything If not warm, dry and protected from the elements And my thoughts go on and on and on and people behave normally as if coping with maintenance issues isn't the end of the world and they can end their sentences and not extrapolate everything that ever happens and worry every decision about roofers and houses and everything and anything will be filled with errors of judgement causing torment for all time and I rot within rotting walls lost to time. Either that or the roof will get sorted and we might need to repaper a room.
