The Waves of Life

Author Dana Redricks August 17, 2019 The waves are crashing against the shore as I journey through this life of mine of uncertainty Wondering when will the sun shine again Hoping dreaming I wish this nightmare would end The waves of Life are crashing in as I journey around the bend trusting and putting my hope in God I smile but deep within I'm crying weeping bitter tears drowning in my fears Lord save me from these turbulent seas I often wish that I can forget my past and that this pain would go away and the feeling wouldn't last Lord hold me in your tender loving arms keep me safe from harm Calm the Waters of the turbulent seas I am weak but you are strong Hold me in your loving arms The waves are crashing all around as the lightning flash and crash Boom I see the waves as they roar I wonder if things were different how would my life be but right now it's hard for me to see I know you are the light and one day I will see my way and you will calm the seas and deliver me
