The War Within

By Dana Redricks April 7, 2021 My stomach is telling me, I'm full, but my mind is telling me, I need food. There's an emptiness in my soul that seeks to be filled. Food is my drug, my pusher is the store. I try to mask my pain with empty calories, but only God can fill this void. I go through this vicious cycle of feeling guilty, but this addiction has got me trapped. Lord release me from this painful ride. For You are the only One who can set me free.

This is too relatable, Dana. Many of us struggle with some form of addiction. I hope you feel many bouts of hope and positivity. Cheers :)
