The Third Road
At an impass,
Don't know which
Way to go
This road or
The other,
I don’t really know
And if I did,
I would not know
Where it could start
Because it is
Invisible to my
Clouded eyes
Filled with thoughts
Of all the good,
All the bad,
But forgetting
To think logically
And instead
Soaking up all
The emotions I've
Felt up to this point
And letting them
Sway my decision
I can't help
But feel like
I would regret
Any decision I
Make here and
Future me will say
"That was a
Stupid thing to do"
But I can't
Stay here anymore
So I look down
Each of the roads
And see the end
Of one and the end
Of the other,
Knowing I don't
Want to choose
Either path,
But I finally
See my true
Way to go,
Hidden in the brush
And that the way
Seems like it
Won't leave me
With anxieties
And so I go
Down the road
I choose for myself
