The Summer's Here
The summer's here, how fast it came-
the deepest greens- and blooms, aflame.
The song of birds, so sweet and clear-
how fast it came- the summer's here.
The babbling brook heard rambling by,
amid the stones, that beneath lie,
with twists and bends, fills every nook;
heard rambling by, a babbling brook.
And soothing breeze, refreshing air
cools blazing rays, too hot to bear.
Life feels so fine- relaxed neath trees-
refreshing air, and soothing breeze.
The summertime- so short a stay!
Before we know, it fades away.
Enjoy them now- these gifts, sublime.
So short a stay, the summertime.
