There once was a man named Fuzz Who was hearing a strange buzz He checked his alarm And a nearby farm Then screamed, "CICADA", it twas!

Hey Justin, Nice work on your limericks. I've read quite a few of them! Bad year for those cicadas but in my neighborhood it's the Lantern-fly that's been the nuisance around here. Years ago my friends and I used to eat the cicadas when we were drunk...lol Many moons ago..hehe Thanks for stopping by...keep up the good poetry! Charlie
