The Strain and the Strength

The body strains, a sweet and burning ache, Where muscles tremble, and the breath runs deep, A vital fire, for well-being's sake, And weary limbs at last find tranquil sleep. Though sweat may fall, and effort marks the way, The heart gets young, with smile each dawning day, The spirit lifts, with strength that knows no keep, And health's reward, in every joyful leap. ©bfa030125
