The Story of the Tear
As she silently walked along the path
Afraid to go home and face his wrath
I hung on those dark lashes
Afraid to fall, lest my soul flashes
And viewed this lovely world
Thru her eyes where I curled
The pain in her heart grew stronger
She seemed to have lost her anchor
I slid across her satiny cheeks
Gloriously gliding, with occasional squeaks
Unmindful of the sorrow in her heart
I was now glad for the head start
As I fell onto the earth
And got all mixed up in the dirt
Then the realisation came of my error
Of not staying with the girl forever
