How many times have doubts and fears,
Grasped our marrow - borne our tears?
Yet still, above, through vaults of stars,
That truth is known - the Light is ours.
Oh let the stirring darkness flee
The embers of that spark in me ...
A Holy Ghost as whispers, sighs,
Those fiery joys within my eyes.
And when I'm lost deep in the night,
I'll seek my guidance from that Light -
One still, small voice whene'er I roam,
The Song of Heaven to lead me home.
