The Source of Strength Is There
Why would my mind ever doubt the trust that erased
the challenge of worry and the summons of fear?
When confidence found out the pitfall that was traced
in the second thought with the image so unclear.
Why would I surrender to the mammoth mountain
of obstacle so hard or so tough to surmount?
When the heart’s courage won over the life’s burden
that terrified the eyes filled with grief’s much amount.
Why would my spirit and soul let my hope waver
midst the ocean of tears and waves of deep distress?
When the ship’s anchor beat the toss of the water;
as this support was like a strong and big buttress.
Why would I ever let love fade into the gray?
Why would my body get weak along the roadway?
