The Song of Silence
THE SONG OF SILENCE
When the pensive eyes look deeply inside
At the tranquil depths of the serene sea
See the tear drops disappear to reside
In the niche of silence of the mind free.
Mind then dances on angel’s fairy feet
On the soaring crests of the floating cloud
The azure sky spreads its wide arms to greet
Ecstasy of silence lifts the sad shroud.
The rising sun shines bright on the new face
The colors of the blazing horizon
Enter deep within, darkness they replace
In silence the inner light lies frozen.
The flow of tears behind the eyes unseen
A new song of silence it would begin.
