The Sleeping Fairy
Little bitty leaf wrapped and winged one
so tightly snuggled under autumn's warmth
of the Morning's sunny, Elm's branch wrung.
So neatly protected and out of passerby's site
your colorful wings tucked in by your side.
Not a sound do you make and not much room
from this ole tree do you take.
What a joyous mystery you have brought to life
my Fairy friend and fantasy for me now is more
than just pretend.
