The Sky Is My Place

The sky is my place… My very own escape as it holds my dreams As I watch its transformation every day Colors, shapes, movement and light Sparkling stars and the moon in the night The sky is my place that brings peace Brings hope with new sunrises of beginnings Then closure with shaded colored of sunsets I watch with wonder as my thoughts clear I paint what I see, to remember for eternity It is all so distant, but still it all so near I am free with the sky scape in my mind Surrounding me, guiding me…decorating my life Thank you God Heidi Sands 1/10/20
