And almost three months later, this viewer/reader sees even more. (See last comment, 02/13/19)… You write of wine's silence; others write of its abiity to loosen the lips and the tongue. (See my poem of May 02, 2019 -- 'Wine and Truth.') Maybe this duality is part of the tension that informs wine's unique flavor... Blessings, Gershon

Had to view this, as the title was so such an intriguing contrast to that old Latin dictum -- 'in vino veritas' = in wine, there is truth. (I.e., slip the suspect a few glasses of wine, and he'll end up telling the truth). Nicely done, Kim. :) gw

"sharpened on the tongue" - ah, yes, I do believe you have been at a little wine fest. But why on hors d'oeuvres? Sounds unfair to me.
