This is clever. Owl feathers are 'designed' so they make zero noise and snow is just beautiful (unless it is chasing you down a mountain). This is a perfect piece in it's brevity and neatness, Sara. Lovely :)

This is remarkable. Really perfect. The scene is so well portrayed that I can play it over and over like a favored scene in a film. Something very special here.

Snow falls without making a sound and owl flies in silence to escape notice of the small rodents and other creatures it wants to prey upon. A well written haiku and an apt title, dear Sara.

Amazing how snow is silent. I spent years hearing the hoot of owls with out seeing one. I guess that would make them sightless.

Sometimes if you go out at night, TS, you might hear the soft sound of their wings when they are in flight. I have only hear it once in my life but it made a lasting impression on me. Thanks for the visit. Sara K

How poetically divine is this haiku, the way you’ve painted imagery and depicted silence, and how in silence you can hear so much of nature, this one made me think so deep, and as snow enters silence envelopes all, and owls too in flight, its such a creative take.. pleasure reading you always.
