Oh ive never seen this form lanterne, need to look it up. What a brilliant poem this is, it always amazes me when one can say and show so much through few words, thats true artistry at its finest i think! Thank you, Inky, at one time in my life I was considered to be witty. It doesn't get through that often in my poetry. I hope your week is going well. Very clever, Bill. Your love of sports and admiration for this event comes shining through words. The the reversal of "shot put" to "the shot is put" is very creative. So fun to try new forms! The spinning shot put or the Lanterne? LOL You could be a woman Shot Puter, but I imagine you were referring the the Lanterne form of poetry. Have a pleasant day, Eve.
