Thanks for your lovely suggestions, Kirk ~

Listen to poem:
I can taste the smell of water as I near the ocean coast I remember the feel of it against my skin and the warm summer days in early morn but most of all I love to touch the shape of water and as far as I can see to hear its waves in motion from vicious to peaceful its fickle swaying moods at times violent at times playful Submitted on March 1, 2022 for contest A BRIAN STRAND VERSE FREED sponsored by BRIAN STRAND - RANKED 1ST AP: Honorable Mention 2021 Originally posted on July 24, 2021

The ocean is always a good subject for poetry. It enables the writer to create images we can relate to. I am lucky we live near the sea so am familiar with the ocean's fickle nature. Nice one..Delice
