The Sadness In My Heart
"Such was the lives"
when we sat together holding hands
and sharing "ice cream kisses"
I loved him and "his drunken kiss"
that only led to his "confession"
a life of lies and betrayal
Now I sit alone
watching the "sunset" with "regret "
recoperating from a "meltdown"
after my nerves became "tangeled vines"
and my body "my broken column"
