The Sacred Harp Fa

Fa
* *
Singing and plucking the strings of the heart
the morning strums as horizons take wing
We gather momentum the sacred harp
The sun warms cold in trees little songs sing
Answered prayers from the night before
Longing to go but town is far away
but thanking God that He opens the doors
Still our home is sweet where we learn and play
Blue skies do shine in through the wagon bow
Me and the girls watch home into green blend
Sis’s and I haven’t been to town since the snow
a convention is there we’ve never been
exited Pa says it’s like a church fair
Double Springs Sacred Harp Singing is where
