Heartfelt, Charlie. I grew up in a family of hunters. But I have fed them over the years, hating the thought of these beautiful animals being on the menu. Congratulations on your win.

So sad that these beautiful animals are killed and butchered for the enjoyment mostly of tourism, and then boast on their menus that venison is part of the meal. They are so nimble and dainty as they move so, I can imagine your tear when you realized and imagine their fate! Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

Hi Charles, such a wonderful write my friend. I can picture the beautiful scene so easily and I share the feelings towards the Venison. The scene at the beginning does give peace to the heart. Love the content of the joy and the tears. A fave. Have a wonderful Sunday. Your friend always....Mike. XX
