The Rose

flowers bloom, put in a room, but no one cares about its fears, should they care? is it fair? a flower breathes, but doesn't get air. seedling sprouts, stem reaches out, longing for the daylight, preaching in the twilight. alone they thrive, forced to dive, they drown in sorrow, the dread of tomorrow. storms brew, morning dew, the rain’s washed away the pain from yesterday, flowers bloom put in a room, cut down life rose so might.
