Notes About The Poem

The Reason I Went Topless On My Birthday

A letter had arrived for me I felt like a celebrity It’s for a photo shoot (I’ll be topless to boot) It’s mammogram time - they're ghastly! The mammogram went pretty well T’was painful, boobies hurt like hell My results came back clear There’s no cancer to fear I’m relieved, I guess you can tell! 02/05/21

Wonderful Jan. I had a friend describe a mammogram as like unto having a Mac truck run over them. Glad all is clear :) Linda

Glad your results were clear my friend, I hate having this done as well. Better than going to a gynecologist though where you strip from the waist down. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Neither examination is pleasant but they are both over quite quickly and help to detect early signs of cancer so I never miss either test ... but i don't like them lol:-) hugs Jan xx

Inquisitive following the Title. Little bit disappointed going through the poem. Once I was gone through that test ten years back. It was okay then. I never ventured further. What will be will be, future not to see.

The idea of the topless photo shoot came from my vampire nurse when she bared her fangs at me on Tuesday. i was laughing so much i had to do a poem. I'm totally over my needle phobia which i have had for many many years!!:-) hugs jan xx
