The Rains Fell
He warned them,
but they did not
listen.
It came to him
in a heavenly
vision.
He did not want
one soul to perish.
In the end, by
their choice, so
selfish.
They mocked
him and laughed.
They thought
they knew best.
They didn't take
heed.
Or even believe!
The time grew
nearer.
The Rains brought
fear!
Oh, they begged
for the rain to stop,
but God had had
enough!
The crying and
screaming. Was the
Lords dealing.
Over the mountain
tops, the waters
rested.
God's patience
was patiently
tested.
So many died.
If you asked,
"Why?
No one took Noahs
advice.
