Jest only waxing poetic y'all.
Don't go a-feelin' sorry fer me.
The rain plays it's own melody tonight,
Against my window pane,
As crystal droplets dot the glass,
Soothing mental pain.
The days of late seem long and hard,
Without someone to share,
My problems and my daily life,
Someone who will care.
My life is often empty,
I feel so all alone,
I wish that I could find someone,
To call my very own.
Tonight I lay upon my bed,
And listen to the rain,
Beating a tune on the window pane,
Soothing my mental pain.
Tomorrow is another day,
And somehow I'll get by.
Tonight I listen to the rain,
And breathe a little sigh.
