Jest only waxing poetic y'all.

Don't go a-feelin' sorry fer me.

The rain plays it's own melody tonight, Against my window pane, As crystal droplets dot the glass, Soothing mental pain. The days of late seem long and hard, Without someone to share, My problems and my daily life, Someone who will care. My life is often empty, I feel so all alone, I wish that I could find someone, To call my very own. Tonight I lay upon my bed, And listen to the rain, Beating a tune on the window pane, Soothing my mental pain. Tomorrow is another day, And somehow I'll get by. Tonight I listen to the rain, And breathe a little sigh.

Hello Judy … listening to rain on a tin roof at night can be comforting, but if lonely during the day can add to one’s misery - another delightful verse Judy - Lindsay

A different kind of rain but rain none the less. I hope that when dawn came and a new day the rain disappeared and sunlight flooded your thoughts. Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara

When I was young I used to stand behind closed windows and listen to the rain. Indeed it has its own melody. Hus.

JB, you've written a profound and delicate poem with excellent imagery. I really enjoy this verse: Beating a tune on the window pane, soothing my mental pain. The rain sounds calming, and I'm sorry you're lonely; I hope you meet that special someone soon, best wishes and kindest regards
