The Quill

In dark corners are Poets writing quill in hand Little hope that ever will Their words be read by any one Still they write words so dear Hoping some day to be known People then their words to learn Change the lives of whose who read Yet in darkness they are found Seeking not the light nor the crowd Will not stand on a stage Before a crowd their words to say Fear of that which may be Of if the people might turn away Hiding in the darkness they stay With the words they hold dear Captive by the things they fear
