The Promise
Him:
I have loved you always,
And I always will;
And when we both are old and grey,
I'll love you ever still.
You said you'd follow me anywhere,
Then follow me through life.
Be one with me, grow old with me,
Be my woman, be my wife.
Her:
You've always known I love you,
And I always will.
Every time you look my way,
It gives my heart a thrill.
I will follow you anywhere.
Together we'll make our life.
You will be my husband,
And I will be your wife.
