The Professional
If it’s the goal, he’ll leg up the mountain
in his mind, name and gain are all at stake
meet the need then bask in the fountain
make each low bite as fine as the seen cake
burn the heat to keep the face sustained
the ride to the top, void of any brake
adds with time, many a head to maintain
even on top, puts more care for their sake
a herd of men in apt loyalty
deaf ears to them has a bad penalty
all so that no one’s the casualty
time and to earn just can’t be misused
the best is his plan, the best he will use
a wide and big hand for none to abuse.
