The Prince
Mighty heroes have fought
while they were still alive,
but his tale's like a ghost.
He fought after he died.
Doubtful soldiers were losing
the courage to fight
for the enemies were pouring
like the sands and the dusts.
So in order to enliven
the crippled souls of his men,
on his deathbed he craved
that his corpse make the lead.
So his men fixed his body
on the back of a horse
with the flag of victory
raising high on the porch.
On the back of a horse
he sat straight like a pole.
He was leading the force
to seize victory in whole.
Countless enemies feared
seeing him make the charge,
for their leaders believed
that he was still alive.
Victory was achieved
and his body had sailed,
to the unknown, he went,
but his greatness has reigned.
Yes, he was the prince
who had fought as a corpse.
He led his men to crest
on the back of a horse.
