Substance is not questioned
Burning brightly into overwhelm
A light shone on everything
To the point of obscurity
Amazingly the figure is conscious
Wishing to know more
Everything inside and out
This world and beyond
Focus small says a voice
But intense bright light burns
Like a laser eradicating asteroids
But one remains in tact
A rock may hold the answers
But but if close examination fails
The challenge is to stop looking
Step away, let the intensity fade
Who knows, maybe the rocks study us
With an existence we cannot process
To know more, space must be made
And lights sometimes dimmed
The fingertips still grasp
Posture alert and eager
It's clearly the right time to rest
Sometimes that's a way to do your best
