The Picture I Took

I came across your smiling photograph, and memories of you just flooded back: the love and laughter, secrets shared - and fun! We kissed beside the sea...we kissed a lot... It seems our time was full of making love, and, looking back, I long for yesterday, the happy days and nights of loving you. I wonder what I did to lose your heart, and think perhaps you never meant to stay; our love to you was meaningless, a fling; to me, it meant so much - I fell in love. I miss your pseudo loving...even now. for Janice's Blank Verse contest

We've all been there and wondered why. Nothing like getting dumped to make a poem interesting.

Well expressed, passionate piece of poetry mate. And thanks for the support on "crispy skinned Cossages", I was starting to think that I was the only one who got it.
